NDEP Plc Announced the Endowment of the Professorial Chair for Entrepreneurial Development at AAU – Edo State

In honour of its pioneering Chairman, Late Chief Aret Adams, Niger Delta Exploration & Production Plc (NDEP) has announced that it has instituted the full endowment of the Professional Chair for Entrepreneurial Development at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma (AAU), in Edo State.
The Announcement, which was made at the 17th Annual Aret Adams Memorial Lecture Series 2020, by Dr ‘Layi Fatona, MD NDEP Plc and Second Vice Chairman of the Aret Adams Foundation, was the result of detailed discussions between NDEP Plc, AAU and the Aret Adams Foundation. The funding of the Aret Adams Chair for Entrepreneur Development, via the establishment of an endowment ensures that the Chair will be self-funding in perpetuity.
Dr. Fatona commented, ‘We are proud to continue the legacy of Late Chief Aret Adams by instituting the endowment of the Professional Chair for Entrepreneurial Development at the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma (AAU), in Edo State.’
‘Late Chief Aret Adams was a friend and mentor to many, a champion of good works and empowerment. Through the endowment of the Professional Chair for Entrepreneurial Development, we hope to inspire the next generation of Nigerian Entrepreneurs.’
Late Chief Aret Adams was a National champion of entrepreneurial development and was the founding Chairman of Multinational Technologies Limited (MTL) and NDEP Plc, which he founded with a small group of passionate Nigerians, keen to do things differently in the local oil and gas industry. The Chair for Entrepreneurial Development will help to foster an entrepreneurial spirit and encourage business development skills among students at the University and beyond.
