Clearly established rules for effective HSE management
Roles and responsibilities for managing various aspects of NDEP’s health, safety and environmental performance are clearly established and communicated. We make every effort to see that these are followed at all departmental levels and in all company locations. Employees are required to take responsibility for their own health and safety. Detailed manual to limit risks
In 2002, a Community Affairs, Health, Environment and Security (CASHES) manual was developed to provide a detailed guide for handling health and safety issues and interaction with host communities. This manual commits NDEP, its operating company and all contractors to limiting risk to the environment, staff and host communities. Additionally, the company’s HSE policy, objectives and procedures are regularly audited and reviewed by management. The aim is to continually improve our management of health, safety and environment risks.
