Prospective resources have been identified in Ogbele (old OML 54); the Omerelu (OML-53) Farm Out Areas; OML 34 and OPL 227 respectively.

As part of its fourth round of Ogbele Field Development Drilling Campaign, NDPR commenced a 3 Well drilling progamme in the Ogbele Field Area. This will be followed by the drilling of the 1st appraisal well in Omerelu.

With the exit of Addax Petroleum from the asset, NDPR was nominated as the Operator with 51% equity. As part of its mandate to fast track the development of the asset, an extensive review of previous works was carried out. A plan to ensure a speedy development has been drawn up.

An appraisal well was successfully drilled in H1 2019. Evaluation of the results and its implication on for the asset is currently ongoing.
