NDEP Clocks 15 Million Man Hours – LTI Free

On the 11th of June 2022, Niger Delta Exploration & Production PLC (NDEP) successfully logged 15 million cumulative man-hours with zero Loss Time Injury (LTI), across its various operations and subsidiaries.

The milestone was attained over a period of 10+ years of growth in our operational activities across our subsidiaries, Niger Delta Petroleum Resources Ltd (NDPR), ND Gas Limited and ND Refineries Limited.

During this period, we undertook key projects that include the inception and expansion of the Ogbele Refinery, successful drilling campaigns, and more recently the use of rig-less well optimization techniques to increase production. At the same time, the Company has also significantly reduced its carbon footprint by eliminating gas flare to a minimal technical flare level.

At the heart of NDEP’s operating philosophy is adherence to the highest levels of environmental preservation, and a positive safety culture for staff and contractors.  This is demonstrated in the company recently attaining the ISO 14001 : 2015 Edition certification.

‘Gbite Falade, NDEP MD/CEO commented, ‘As a leading Nigerian Independent energy Company that is providing energy solutions in a sustainable way, NDEP is committed to excellent standards of safety in its operations, host communities and across its offices. As local and international stakeholders focus increasingly on ESG issues, I am pleased that NDEP’s commitment to the cause continues to shine through its impeccable safety record.’
